Charity

As the first lady of the US...

... Hillary Clinton took active part in charity activity. She tried her best effort to support the reforms in the American healthcare system to make it possible for people to get quality medical services at affordable cost. In close cooperation with the Democratic and Republican parties, Hillary worked hard to launch Children’s Health Insurance Program that offers health coverage to over 8 million kids.

Hillary fights a lot for the rights of children and women worldwide. During her speech at the U.N. Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995, she declared that “human rights are women’s rights, and women’s rights are human rights once and for all”. That speech inspired millions of women across the globe, making them fight for their rights.

During her charity work, Hillary Clinton supported 26 foundations:

  • American India Foundation
  • American Foundation for AIDS Research
  • Avoided Deforestation Partners
  • Apne Aap
